I finally got a call today from Secretweapon, (Mike), and he wanted me to tell everyone Hello for him. Mike has been in the hospital in NJ for sometime now. He had a 6 inch tear in his colon and matter had went through it and the toxins in his system almost killed him. (He did go out twice on the operating table and was thankfully brought back.) His mother had been keeping me informed of his progress and for 12 days he was basically in a coma. He is still very weak, but doing better finally. Wed. he is going to have back surgery to fix three cracked vertibras. Mike misses everyone here and looks forward to getting back soon. Keep our good friend in your prayers!
That's great news! And a very special Thank You to the Great Physician who kept Mike from checking out, and keeping him with us!:tb-biggrin: (I'm referring of course to the good Lord)
Good news! I was not aware that Mike had had such a critical thing fall upon him like this. Hopefully there will be a good healing waiting for him in the near future.

Jerry, You tell him that I said to pinch the nurses behind, because they love it when people do that!! Seriuosly let him know we miss him too and our preyers are withhim for a speedy recovery.
GET WELL SOON!!! I had a friend fall victim to a similar illness about 5 years ago so I understand the seriuosness of this all too well. I can say that he fully recovered 100% thanks to the grace of God and the dedicated health care professionals that do such excellent work. Jamie
