Two older paint jobs parked in Surrey Yard back in 2014. I think the one on the SD40-2W is called a "Map" but don't know what the one on the C40-8 was called.

Does anyone know what the green spot behind the cab is?

I figured it had something to do with the air filters. Maybe a notice to maintenance about type or cleaning schedule. They have a strange symbol on the battery box cover too. And the fire extinguisher is well labeled. I think the row of class lights above the number boards above the windshield are cool too.

Wow, probably will never see a paintbooth either. Dang, if a cowl unit gets toasted like a hood unit, is it confined to the inside? o_O

Westbound stacker in Minot. On a side note, why does it look like someone dumped a bucket of some dark liquid out of the cab window? My money's not on coffee...

Either that, or hopefully someone wasn't hanging out the window when whatever that is rained down on it!

I shot by chance this pair of units in downtown Montreal, QC, in April 2019. I wasn't even railfanning as I thought this line was only used at night.. :)
