I was busier than usual last week, so I postponed it. This week, a larger issue of your favorite thread! Let's get down to business with RBrodzinsky's Mogul pulling an excursion train: Fishplate's Boxcab is coming along. This seems to be a very early boxcab unit, prior to the dieselization of the class I's: Carl Sowell imagineered the Espee Black Widow scheme on a modern GE unit: Jon Grant has made great progress on his river gorge extension; see a whole schwack of progress photos at his album here: http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/showgallery.php/cat/2434
Oldrk built a whale of a trestle (and I'd love to see it in high-res!): GeorgeV's Bowser USRA Pacific pulls tonnage through town: Barlowfaudio beautifully weathered an N scale boxcar: Grant_T seems to have had a break-in-two in the middle of the southwestern desert:
Flash Blackman captured an abandoned shack on the SAMRA layout: r_i_straw upgraded his Trix U30CG: That's all for this week, see you next time!
WOW WOW!!! Superb images! That abandoned shack is impressive. The trestle is awesome. Inspiring photos indeed.
Again great pictures this week, and I am humbled to be selected. But, maybe when you were a kid you heard the expression "when they were handing out brains, where were you?" when you did something dumb, implying thats how you got (or missed out on) talent? Well, I think Jon Grant sneaked back into the "Model Railroading Talent" line a whole lot of times and got a lot of extra shots or however it was administered. His work is always stunning. George V.
Thanks for selecting one of my photos to include with those other fine choices. Jon's River Gorge Extension is my favorite image of the bunch.
