Heres one I took about June or July of last year. I was in Engineer Training at the time and decided that when we stopped at our office to get our orders, that I would spot the engine next to locals engine which was tied down for the night. I think its kinda neat because our company is owned 50% by NS and 50% by CSX. Oh by the way the company I speak of is the Winston Salem Soutbound Railway and the picture was taken at our office in Winston Salem NC. Later Michael Ridenhour WSSB/HPT&D Engineer
Well then I guess my question is, Why can I see the Image and no one else can? Later Michael Ridenhour WSSB/HPT&D Engineer
Hi Michael. In order for a photo to show up on this site, it must be accessible on the internet, not just resident in your computer files. A lot of the regulars here had their photos stored on Photopoint, which suddenly disappeared along with all the photos. If you have your own website or an ISP that will give you storage space, you need to put the photos there in order for them to be viewed here. Now having said all that, Charlie and the staff here are working hard on providing our own photo storage site right here. It is not finalized yet, but hopefully will be soon.
Hi Michael, I would like to see your photo! Do you have a website that you can post it too? If not, you might want to sign up for one on one of the "free" sites, such as Tripod. If you have no sight or desire to do so, you can e-mail it to me and I will post it for you on one of mine. Harold
Micheal: send me the photo and I will post it, so everyone can see it (if chessie doesnt already have it...I would like to see it too!! Hunter
Hey Mike i posted some pics of 6107 in the newsgroup. Caught them on the HPT&D in High Point FINALLY! Len
Sorry Michael, Only members of the Yahoo! Groups can see those files {But I saw them and liked them } Harold
I`ve been a Locomotive Engineer for a year now and it took me no time to figure out how to run a 100 car 14,000 ton train. I`ve had the computer for about 2 years now and I still haven`t figure out exactly how to use it. Maybe one day. Thanks Michael Ridenhour WSSB/HPT&D Engineer
Hey Michael, I sympathize with you, man. I wish I was a locomotive engineer. I was an aviation avionics engineer for a lot of years, and even did some work with software. Bill Gates and his cronies have given us some software that is nearly impossible to work with. I have struggled greatly with this PC stuff. You WILL conquer it;. just stick with it and keep on tryin. Once you get to the thing you are trying, it will be like a big lightbulb going off over your head. A great feeling.
There is a saying ... "To err is Human, but to REALLY foul things up you need a Computer!" Hang in there Michael ...
