On a good day...if the F unit was complete and the matching A unit was there...and if there was a steam loco to go with that tender......if....if....if.

Rusty and bent 027 track. Zero.
Rare metal cased power packs. Zero.
    Mouse eaten partial boxes. Zero.
Engine with skates, dinged, chipped, peeled, oh, add it to the lot, $50-$75 the whole thing.
Cars don't look too bad...but four months ago I gave away all the two dome tanks I had....have more of those stock cars than I need....no more cabooses...especially non-stack versions....027 Milk Cars, have about 8 of the silly things.
Got a watchman's shanty is a WHOLE lot better shape.

    Really, whole thing, $50-$75.

How can it be "good condition" when seller says "rusting"?

According to the seller's description, the NOS stands for "New Old Stock".

However, if I were to use this motor, will my train go very fast?

Yes. That is how I understand the terminology use. But it sure does not quite appear as being NOS.

As I recall, when the 671 first came out, the standard tender was a 671W. That's what I had.

Most common ones I've seen. Never looked right with the 671W. Just opinion.
All the ones that used to sell at the local Trash Collectors of America shows had anything but the 671W...which is probably why he's selling just the tender...found a better one for his loco!

The line above that: 671W 8-Wheel Lionel Lines Whistling Tender: 1946-1947. Mine was a 1946. Knew that due to the source from which it was acquired.
