Looks like a nice try, but with not quite crisp paint lines, and being LifeLike, value is well under the asking price.

    Crafts by Heck

This stuff is just terrible. The castings look kind of melted. The painting is some of the worst I've seen. Yet he sells some of this stuff.

Are modelers that lame that they will put this stuff on their layout?

    Wow

    Not a real successful seller.

He sold 3 n scale items out of 585 n scale auctions listed. Losing money at that rate, maybe he should have stayed in the Army?

"The seller has relisted this item or one like this."

Possibly he had more than one, but percentages are this was a deal somehow fallen through. If I was a bidder, I might be wondering why...

    Maybe because it isn't HOn3?

Three of the recent N Scale Collector/N Scale Enthusiast "Author Cars" out there right now... these really are very limited as they are made only for those who have written an article for NSC/NSE in the past year. Have all three tagged and very curious to see how these do. (Disclaimer: I already have mine; as they say in "Shark Tank," "I'm out.")

I am surprised that two of these MTL/N Scale Collector cars... are listed as "made in/country of manufacture: United Kingdom."
I thought MTL cars were made in USA. Were these special-decorated/ modified/ customized in UK, or what? Seller is shown in Washington State. Or just an etourderie? (accidental misstatement due to copying and pasting information from another item...)

No, they're made and decorated in the USA. That would be a listing error...
