And trust me when I say that MTL and others welcome information when presented courteously. ("You idiots got this wrong" posted publicly is not an example of this and will earn you a permanent place in the Round File.)

I have the letters thanking me for my help to prove it...

The one caveat I will add to this is that it will be some time between sending in information and seeing a finished product.

i think they're not going to be released until august (earliest). i'm not joe, so i don't know for sure, but i think i remember some conversations on the forums about it. then again, maybe that is the "on schedule" you are talking about????

    HI guys.

Yea, not sure of the exact date as we are still waiting for China to get us samples we can approve. The plastic is done and I'll see if they've started painting yet...if so I can post some shots of them together. China has had issues, some self inflicted, some via the hand of God, I figure if we had the same proportion of people killed from floods, weather and earthquakes...it might affect how things get done. I know most of the industrial groups have had to work reduced days due to power rationing and that caused most of our delays. Good news, I just got the aproval samples today and they are racing around the track. If these hold up, we are back in business.

    Cheers

Eddie, the chances are better for the BN or ATSF than any of the heritage schemes. The heritage schemes takes too many color. So far, most of the MTL schemes usually have one or two colors. There are exceptions like the NP GP9.

To many colors? BNSF is Orange, Green and Yellow.

BN is Green, Black & White.

Santa Fe is Blue, Yellow, Silver & Black

I guess you lost me... ?

You are right Eddie. Somehow, I thought it has more colors. Still, the heritage is a much more complex scheme to do. Maybe I am wrong again, but one of the reasons Joe gave for not doing a yellow nose II is the complexity of masking.

Yeah, well, don't tell that to the Cessie fans, maybe take a look at a Cessie GP35. :tb-wink: Then make him tells us that is the reason. Your yellow nose and my BNSF scheme are very easy to make.
