The December issue of Model Railroader has a picture (page 42) of 562 in YN3 offered by Overland Models. I think it, and the few YN3's I've seen go by, look better than the YN2 scheme.
Here is a pic I took this august. After looking at it again you can see the nose is gold. Look at the AC6000 behind it. You can see the difference in the yellow and gold. At first I thought it was bad light. http://groups.msn.com/TheGRRModelRR/photoalbum1.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=99 BTW how do you put your pics in these posts.
A.J. In replying to a post, look below the typing screen you'll find a list.... In that list look for a button that says "Image" click this, and copy and paste the URL into the little pop up screen for it and then click ok, and it will post your image or picture to your posting.....HTH [ 14. Jeff, Welcome aboard, if you haven't been officially welcomed yet As far as the color blue, it is much darker in person,,, with the lighting I had (plus angles) it does show up as drastically as it does in a good photo comparison with two units side by side. ( I think I have one that will show it better somewhere ) The "new" color is much darker, with the ends being gold. I'll try and post some more new paint pics, including a GP30 slug! Harold
If you look closely you can see three different paint schemes. Hint: go by the CSX letters [ 15. November 2002, 14:18: Message edited by: ajy6b ]
