Assuming the modules will be around the two far walls from the entrance (from where the photos appear to have been taken), you will have lots of space in the middle of the room. You could even have a T module, and a peninsula into the middle, or a corner module and peninsula (e.g. under the window at right.) You could also put a workbench in your closet at right (you might want to use bifold or double passage doors, rather than sliding closet doors), depending on what/how much you need to store in said closet.

I have quite a few hobbies. I build cars and trucks, some armor and planes, and a lot of sci fi. It's been a long while since I've built a kit because my stuff was in storage for a while. Looking forward to starting to build models and work on trains again.

Sweet! I suspect there are a few of us here who also dabble in scale model building. Seems to me to be a natural crossover.

I've decided that the folding table isn;t the greatest thing in the world. The seam where it folds causes a peak in the surface and things don't stay put. My ex (again) offered me a work surface she has in her garage that she's no longer using. It's a foot or so shorter in length that my folding table and needs some legs but since I've moved the spray booth and compressor to the other room, it won't be much of an issue. I bough a cheap folding chair to use at the booth yesterday at Wally World so I can sit while I spray. I have Saturday off because I'm going to a music festival in Sac Friday and Sunday. Maybe I can get some legs at Lowes on Saturday.

Mine is just the opposite. It has a slight sag. I am thinking that possibly some shims in the middle will pinch just enough to force it level.

My 6 foot folding table is level and stable. It's the three 2'x4' that very in height, level and are unstable. That's why I'm considering the stackable shelving units.

I haven't gotten much of anything done lately. Been adulting and managed to got to three concerts at the end of September and the beginning of October. AND! I changed the name of my You Tube Channel November First(ish) to JD's House of Hobbies. I think it conveys what I'm doing there much better than the old one.
