    Vince,

If your friend is willing, I would love to have a couple of those mail jeeps for my club's layout (actually I would love to have 18 more for a open autorack load, but that's certainly asking too much).

Please, add me to that list Vince. The DJ-5 delivery Jeeps were used in my home state until the late 1980's. Besides I'm a Jeep guy and my brother just retired from the USPS. He said those Jeeps were more dependable then those LLVs.

So here I am back in the saddle as the N scale didn't work out due to hand issue's.

Newest project is the replacement body for my Boss 302 hugger orange Stang.

Used DRGW aspen gold for a close approximate looking for close not perfect.

In a couple of days I'll add the Black Boss stripes.

    Enjoy I'm back

Was always a fan of the late 60’s, early 70’s body style. Too bad you don’t have a convertible, powder blue and the Omega Man!

Looked at the convertibles there would need to be a lot of work done.

As the trunk area body lines are totally different.

So not sure if I'll build one.

I had a 71 baby blue notch back with a white interior. That was my dating car for a little bit. My everyday car was a 65 black coupe with a red interior. Even had a small red pillow on the driveshaft housing so then GF, now superintendent could sit comfortably. Those were the days!

But do you still have the biceps you built up wrestling with the steering wheel?

Speaking of which, why all the Mustangs and no Darts? Dodge sold over ten million Darts. Is someone afraid their little model horsie will get dust on its headlights?

My Dartona was gag car after my accident where I got rear ended at 80mph by a drunk driver while I was sitting at a light.

Bought a 71 dart swinger and went to a body shop where they made a fiberglass nose and metal wing it.

Yup it was my baby bird and had the Dartona badges made for it boy that car got looks.

Only 2 or 3 ft shorter than a Daytona or SuperBird but it was mine and yes it was repainted in plum crazy purple with a black vinyl top.

It sat along side my 1968 charger with a factory 225 slant six and 3 in the tree sea foam green black interior with real wood real interior chrome, big and little cragars really miss those cruisers.

At least Oxford is doing some Dodges.

And I was raised on Armstrong steering even our race cars over the years were Armstrong.

Chrome trimmed wing windows at that.

None of that plastic they call chrome.

Don't think I ever hoovered at the 55 air lol. ;>p

My baddest hot rod was a 76 Dodge colt that would've made JJ DA BOSS very happy.

Tube chassis pro street with a 440 dual quad high rise lenko 5 speed and line lock.

Not bad for an 18 year old kid with only 2 years of driving under his belt.

Actually do better on the track and at speed than normal driving lol.
