Good intent there, however, there needs to be at least one car length clear on both sides of the crossing so drivers have visual freedom, when there are more than one track. And there is a specific distance between them as a minimum too, though i don't remember it!

Even if it is a private driveway and an unprotected crossing, yep. Had a crew years ago that did a 'just enough' set up at a private crossing on a siding. The result was a tragic mess, with crew off an a 30 day 'in vacation vestigation.'
