Good idea Gary, but never seem to have the time. It took me ages to get round to doing a 'how to build a spine car' page for my web site - with photographs of all the operations. Pleased I did, though, as it answers lots of questions from prospective purchasers. ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com
On the topic of N Scale Magazine, I just got my May/June issue in the mail today! (I need to rip off that plastic bag and see what's inside). Does anyone else remember when magazines actually came out in ADVANCE of the issue date? (I just got my March/April issue of Diesel Era magazine last week...) Chessie
Off topic, sotra, but does any one know what is up with Canadian Railway Modeller? There hasn't been an issue for quite awhile, and TAMR has adds in the issue that never came out. Happy Railroading! Dane N. ------------------ TAMR2860-AKA BC Rail King TAMR2860@hotmail.com

Alan, just stopped by my favorite hardware store after lunch, they also carry MR equip. and mags. I have been stopping by every other day to see if N-Scale magazine was in and there it was, the May/June issue. So, if your issue is not there it must be close. Has a grand cover with a Rio Grande 2-8-8-2. The wife and I are off on a steam locomotive excursion this weekend. Should be fun. ------------------ Residing in BNSF's St. Croix Subdivision near Trempealeau, WI

Chessie, it's there. The URL posted was incorrect. Kevin put a backslash instead of a period. Correct URL - http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Flats/4711/club.html I just checked it and it works. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. Rose The Unofficial TC&W page N to the Nth degree!
I think N-Scale Magazine has it's good points and it's bad points. But the good points win over the bad points every time. I have been a subscriber to N-Scale since issue #1. I will continue to subscribe. We need a magazine just for N-Scale and this magazine fills the need. If you want different ideas in N-Scale Magazine WRITE AN ARTICLE. The magazine even has help available for new authors. If you have tips for modelers mail them to the magazine, they will pay you for them. I think its $25.00 a tip. HO-Scale has been around for a long time, but never had a magazine just for HO-Scale only, N-Scale does and it is N-SCALE MAGAZINE. 'Nuff Said Lets Go Run Trains MARK ------------------
Exactly Porkypine! I might have an article coming out soon......but I can't give away to much info. It should be VERY helpful! ------------------ Craig Martyn BLMA(best looking models around) Custom painting and detailing
o.k every one had a bad day , so check out this url ! http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Flats/4711/club.html and don't for get to stop in and visit the club if you are in the tampa fla. area ,
I saw the NEW N Scale, it was better, in my opion. Now, it will be added to my "Bag" of mags that I get Wow! That bag is getting to big, starting to rip! LOL Happy Railroading! Dane N. ------------------ TAMR2860-AKA BC Rail King TAMR2860@hotmail.com
I would also like to see more layouts. And always, ALWAYS put the track plan on the article. The lightweight layout ideas are sharp. I really like the magazine though. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by SD75I: What does everybody think about N Scale Magazine? I think its great! It could use more pictures of layouts though! What would you like to see more of in this magazine?<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
