Joe, The announcement looks good, except for the repitition of the same sentences in paragraphs two and three. See you there. Also, are you going to make this anouncement on ZCS and Zyahoo for the majority of Z scalers or for just the 20 that visit this site? Cheers, Jim CCRR

Well, I hate to go off topic here by not commenting on what groups this notice is posted on, but, I have downloaded the registration form, booked my flight and made hotel reservations. Feeling optimistic, I guess. Now, I just have to fund the operation.

Dan, Good to hear you will be here in April. Funding? How about clearing out your garage and having a much needed garage sale? There's always something around the house that just doesn't need to be there.

But I don't have a garage. I guess I could build a garage and move all of my stuff into it. Of course, I'd have to sell all of the stuff to build the garage.

karin, Loren looks a little overweight. Maybe he should ride a bike to work. After all, I cant picture Medford being too big. Do you guys have traffic lights. :D

might be helpful if you listed the airlines that fly into Medford. Living in the PNW I know, but I would imagine that many others do not.

Well, until they get it posted on the website I'll mention that we have Alaska/Horizon, Allegiant, and United/Skywest but most airlines will connect you to one of these and still give you miles on your plan if you use a different airline than the one(s) you have mileage plans with. We have a new terminal and the amount of flights in and out has multiplied greatly. Hope you can all make it!

I tried to get him to buy a Toupe' to make his head look fatter but he's resisting...something about "center of Gravity" ??

We don't need them (lights) no one here can pass a drivers test.)

I believe that Delta (Delta Connection) also flies into Medford (MFR for those interested). Both United Express and Delta Connection have routes operated by SkyWest.

As Karin pointed out, most major airlines will get you their through their "partner airlines" I checked United, Delta and USAirways (because they service Harrisburg) United and Delta used their own routes and USAirways connected to United Express. If anyone is looking for flights on-line, the best bet is to enter your home airport and MFR (Medford, OR confuses some of them) and they will either show you flights or say that they don't go there.

    2 questions

    Is there an on-line registration?
How soon can we send the money?

    Greg,
Here's the complete site...... National Z Scale Convention

Under the tab 'register' is a form you either fax or print off and mail into MTL with your payment. I've never known MTL to refuse money at any time.

    See you there?

At this point, it's more than likely - especially if I can take care of the money issue now ( while I have money ), rather than later - after my home theater is put together. :tb-tongue:

Just an idea I'm throwing out there for East Coast Z scalers. Maybe AZL could host a 2011 Z Scale convention in Ohio, or better yet (at least for me :) ) maybe in Pittsburgh or Baltimore.
