Yeah, I like the new look up in person. I liked the Santa Fe heritage of the old font, but H2 was an ugly scheme. H1 on the other hand and the Warbonnets are all superior.
I like all the H1,H2's and the 'New Image'. I just can't wait to see the 'New Image' on the SD70MAC's. BNSF RULES! Allan.
I too like it, I just hope that it doesn't replace anything in Warbonnet or Executive. H2 did enough of that.
Swoosh Spectacular Although I don't have a good opinion of the new BNSF logo, it is *somewhat* growing on me. More importantly, it's starting to show up everywhere, so unless I want to retire from railfanning it's just gonna be a fact of life. So, here are some shots I've taken over the past few months...
I have a question. Anybody know anything about that last covered hopper? (480959) It looks like a Trinity 5161 like the others, but it has horizontal seams/ribs. It looks like a kitbash project gone terribly wrong.
You mean the GN EB colors right? Glad the SF image is going away, I was getting tired of hearing SF this SF that, I was thrilled that Krebs (an SF guy no less) decided to bring back GN orange and the Green is NP so the NP isn't lost.
All I can say about the new BNSF logo is that I am eternally grateful that I model the late 70's when it was BN and SF. Tom
That 'New Image' logo is the best I have ever seen. I have 3 HO Models with the new BNSF logo. And I truly love em'. Thanks BNSF for a truly nice looking logo. The 'New Image' rocks. I love the BNSF. Allan.
I like the new logo on the GE's and the everything else except the new SD70ACe's. I think they are one ugly locomotive.
