Got to run the 101 around to fort macleod, got to say I going to have less money soon. With the new Kato under it it ran great, the detail was amazing. I going to convert my to sd 40 to f45's ASAP.
...and if I'll give you a DISCOUNT ? </font>[/QUOTE]let's discuss this over a beer when we meet in maui...
Grant, there better be a steady supply of these kits. It would seem that you'll make a small fortune on these kits. I just hope I can get a hold of some of thses SD40-2's from Kato that will come out soon. Oh yeah, you should make etchings for the vents on GP60M's and B's. I plan to have Loksound in my fleet. If you know who makes grilling for locomotives, point me in their direction.
Steve, Craig is the guy to talk to. We try to concentrate on a whole kit versus parts for other stuff. BLMA does great stuff for guys who want the extras. As for trying to keep these in stock... Pretty much gone through the first batch now. grant
<hint>So if you are pretty much through the first run that means you might contemplate another run a bit later? </hint>
It all depends on numbers Alister. I'm guessing that there will be enough interest in further runs. grant
I'm with Hemi...a GN Big Sky Blue version would be nice...but I need the BN numbers 'cause I model 1970-71.
I probably should have asked Grant this in my reply to his e mail but, are these brass kits that the sides and ends and such need to be soldered together, or is it a cast body with brass details? Also, if I order one, how do I send $80 Canadian?
