    Henrik,
It's best not to push it or worry about it. The motivation will come when the time is right. That's the great thing about about a hobby. The only deadlines are in our heads. Our hobbies are there to help us relax and maybe have a little fun. If there are other things that come up, your hobby will gladly wait until you are ready, again.

We will all be waiting on the pix.

No real work on my modules except for really simple stuff left over from the NTS show. I cut a walk path across several areas on my end module as I plan a short fishing pier scene and need to do the swamp water. Motivation to get that done.

I finshed some Z-Bend Track adapter cables for testing and extending power from another layout.

Cut some gaps in my re-railers I put on the bridges. I made the diamond pointed ends but forgot that when running trains, any gauging or derailed metal wheels would create a direct short. So the thin Gyro rotary wheel got to work.

Need to pix a 10 cm section of MTL flex where one rail was ripped off. I think the module got handled by the track when flipping it. I hope I can just CA the rail back down as I don't wan't to cut in a new section of track into pre-ballasted area.

Henrik, I like it. It does look like a z scale building. It looks like a esy kitbash into a warehouse.

I like the numbers over the doors. Very creative forklift. I could not tell how you made it from 1m, looks good !

Did you scratch build or use Torsja's laser ?

Ok.. As you all know I haven’t had too much inspiration lately, but i have scrolled over railpictures.net almost every day, then it strikes me. What kind of photos do I look at? I realize that the photos I choose to look at it very different from the way my I think my layout is going to look. So I have dismantled my modules and put them in a safe place for later use.

    What is my plan now?
KEEP IT SIMPLE! I will buy some shelf's and I will have a single track on it, and I will have mountains, trees, and a rural scene. My plan is that it is going to be a timeless 16,40 feet long diorama, so whatever engine/ consist I put on the track, it will look good, from steamers to Amtrak!

What I like to do is to build trains, but I need a place where my trains can look good!

    :tb-biggrin:

Such a restless young kid :)

That is a great idea Henrik. Sort of how my modules are. Since most of the Z is Modern, I pretty much have scenery. The one station, coal mine and house could easily be '60, '70, '80 or even the 90's. The Engine house in the yard is sorta modern but some weathering and I can knock it back a few decades.

You can build a steep up-slope, a sheer rock wall or even a rock shelter along one area. Build these all the way up. Or, build them just low enough that you can have some peaks, creating "depth" behind it. A little light snow on the peak(s), some Merten sheep and a shepard. A short rock tunnel with a simple 5cm-10cm trestle on one or both sides would look good. Lots of 3D there.
