Hello all. Let me start my 1st post by saying how awesome the site is. A little about me. My name is mike and I am in the army currently on my second deployment in Afghanistan. I have 10 more months to go out of 12. And my last deployment was to Iraq for 15 months in 07 to 08. My love for trains has been around since I was to small to remember. I will try to be as active as I can on the forums but I am using a Mobil device and we go on patrol everyday. My collection of ho was pretty big and it was mostly life like stuff but I had to sell it 5 years back to prepare for a marrage and the real world. So now I have restarted with just an oval 4by8 of kato unitrack which I started right before my deployment. With that said that's all I own. Not even a power source haha. I got the track off eBay. I think I'm going to stick with the kato. It just feels bullet proof. I would like to run dcc but have no idea how to work that out. I'm sure I will have many questions. Mike- Welcome to TrainBoard! Please look at our DCC Forum for help when you are ready to begin working on that equipment. Keep us posted on your modeling plans and feel free to ask any questions which come into mind. Doing so will save you time, money and from being frustrated.
