Hello, my name is Randy. I just joined up here. I'm from Ohio and I model the Nickel Plate, and I also Prototype Freelance. My railroad is called the River Run. Hey Randy, you made it! Welcome to the TrainBoard family! I went to your site, and took a quick look, but had to get off. I'll go back for more later. Why don't you tell us about your layout and if you don't mind visitors, post your website. I'm sure there are others here who would enjoy a visit too. Well, I must confess I'm a fan of the old Wheeling and Lake Erie. I have a fondness for the line that goes from Akron Ohio to Zanesville Ohio. I came up with the concept around twenty years ago before the Ohio Central got that line. South of Cleveland, there are two places not on any maps anymore, being Run Junction and River Junction. I came up with the name River Run. What is ironic is a few years later a show was on television called Homefront that was about a town in Ohio called River Run! Anyway, my railroad is an all Alco railroad, and with the territory that I model, it gives me license to have a few Nickel Plate locomotives milling around. ~Randy

Thanks for the kudos Wayne! I have a lot more pictures to add the Nickel Plate Home before it's done. On a side note, I see there are quite a few car people here on these boards.
