For the past few weeks Caltrain has been testing the new trains that will eventually replace the diesel-electric push-pull trains that have been in service since the mid 1980's. Today while loading my truck at the Home Depot in Sunnyvale I was able to get this video. The train was being pulled at slow speed by one of the existing F40PH locomotives. The panto graphs were down and it appeared that this may be a test for clearances as there were some yellow blocks attached to the train in a few areas.
