If anyone is interested, I can probably post a few more from other NYCS companies. Or even other non- NYCS railroads.....

Ken, for sure. I have looked through a bunch of books and not found the old NYC&HR map prior to 1914. I have 11 years worth of NYCS "Headlight" mags, which may have one. I will keep looking.

I'm glad to see some of us still care about the fallen flags and 12 inch to the foot scale railroading. We all know "our" railroads were the best, though long gone. :(

Boxcab...Cool!  I like the Palatine Bridge to Fonda order also. I spent alot of hours shooting Conrail there in the early 90's.

Amazing how they dispatched trains then... pencil and paper, no cell phones, radios, ect.

Wasn't there somekind of branch at Fonda? I'd have to check a map its been a while since I was in that area.

Ken, I just linked over here from the Ghost Forum/Rutland Topic and saw the Goldens Bridge/Croton Falls Order...missed it before. Goldens Bridge is on the Harlem Division, about 50 miles north of The City, two stops north of Bedford Hills, where I was born and lived off and on until I got married in '59.

Ken, from the other thread on the Adirondack Division, I found (again) here, your train orders from that division. I still have not found that pre 1913 NYC&HR map.

Here's a recent addition. Dated 1887, it's from Honeoye Falls, New York:

    "Run to...Regardless of No. 5" Boy, that's SCARY! :eek:mg:

Sorta like saying "I don't have a clue where No. 5 is, but, screw it, just run on ahead at track speed anyway.....!" :zip:

    Hank-

That's the olden terminology for "not protecting against." Or "with rights over..."

You want to know what they used for a non-schedule train? (An extra.) "Run Wild." I'm not kidding! I've many examples.
