23M hauls single and double stacks West on the NS Harrisburg Line, destined for the UP in Illinois. The feed mill still uses rail service.
Is that an apartment building, behind the engine? Seems as though that would be a great viewpoint. Any action from switching that mill, to trains passing through, right under the windows.
The building at the far left of the lower picture is the Railroad House, from whose deck one can dine and watch shifting the mill and ethanol terminal, traffic exiting and returning to the former R&C branch a couple times a week, and NS mainline action. Unfortunately both the bar and apartment building have the sun mostly against you.
