(from another thread) Do they work on spray paint cans? As for lobster: Cost too much Too hard to eat For too little flavor
Do they work on spray paint cans? </font>[/QUOTE]Are you talking about "T" pins? Also known as upholsters pins? Boxcab E50
I'm pretty sure he means the kind of pins you find in brand new cloths. I love T pins. At the moment they are holding together strata of the GandG world.
This morning 6:34: Would you like grounds with that? Two things: I am _not_ hung over. The door to that filter holder was _closed_ when I started the process. (the beans are ground internaly and then blown into the filter (which is in the door). One more thing: Tell that bear to stop laughing at me! Update BNSF7173 sent me two new cans of Testors for me to try, (on my caboose, not the cofffee machine). Thank you! I'll be doing that sometime this week. At the moment I have not been doing much as my mother has been in the hospital now for 8 days and they are still not sure what is the cause of the symptoms. I spend my time looking for work, visiting her and taking care of her cat, (about 90 minutes from my place by foot - commuter rail - foot)
Steve, Hope your mother gets better soon. I have been using the Testors lacquers for a while now - mostly on fishing lures. Something I learned from people I knew who used to work for Creek Chub Bait Co. (in Garrett, Indiana) was that lacquer makes one heck of a good finish. I use both the "woofy" (spray) can and also have brushed it from the bottle. Both do work well.
Thanks Mark, Well, you get 1/2 your wish. She is on her way to recovery but they do not know what caused it. I expect her home by Monday or Tuesday. //phew Thanks again.
Steve and Mark - Thankfully I live half a world away from you pair... and that Nolan character come to think of it! Steve, glad to hear your Mum's on the way home, Steve, and hope they come to some conclusion as to the cause.
Gary- Please be forewarned that with the advent of modern transportation, you are not THAT far away. One does not need to be sent by His Majesty to the penal colony any more to get to Australia. Mull over the thought of Steve, Nolan and myself going through immigration at Sydney Airport on our way to your place. I hope your house/apartment/other dwelling needs painting since Steve will be bringing his personal selection of spray paint cans. Nolan will be armed with stupidity and several dozen unused mistake numbers ready for posting and posterity and as to me, I am a disaster waiting to happen, laying waste to good sense, well thought out ideas, and basic mathematical skills, leaving a swath of inanity after each step that is taken toward a goal.
Gats - Thanks for your thoughts, (all of them), Mark - Thank you for the laughter you generated. I needed that. Hmm, I also need a vacation, say, maybe a visit to the Outback? How about you and Pete? wanna come along, (on seperate planes for our mutual safety). Can you imagine the 3 of us on the same plane?
Steve, Do they allow spray paint cans on planes for international travel? Mebbe, but in your hands...Better not chance it...You wouldn't want to be detained for carrying a weapon!
If you load it at Logan or JFK, your luggage will be an odds on favorite never to reach its originally intended end user.
"Can you imagine the 3 of us on the same plane?" An accident waiting to happen... Stay cool and run steam.....
Grey One, (Be careful of those guys, they will probably leave multi-colored finger prints on your walls and door knobs, and track wet paint footie prints all over your kitchen floor! Better get a 5 gallon can of paint thinner!)
