I just put the hose out a window, or the vacuum on the deck and the hose coming into the house. I was in an apartment when I had this and I also was on the second floor. I just painted near the window or sliding door and used the vacuum to keep the fumes out of my house. At the time I was spraying Tester's Model Master (RIP) paints which were lacquer based and would really get your head spinning if you didn't use in a well ventilated area.
Suppose I could put it on the little balcony it's about 6 feet from the window. Just a drier hose extension. But the neighbors may not like it. Oh well. Just stick to water based.
Water based paint thru a small muffin fan/cardboard box, mickey mouse booth is a REALLY good idea. Use a good filter media. A good media, meant for a paint booth, can be purchased from Amazon. Amazon: Master Airbrush Hobby Airbrush Spray Booth Filter Set
Thanks! I do know they have a good selection of airbrush equipment. Just need a better reason to spend the money.
Okay. After posting above, I shot a couple of pictures of my booth. I actually built this one 20 years ago and it is still going strong. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but it has always worked well.
