It's mostly gone now with just a short section of track from southeast Portland to the end of track in Milwaukie. At one time the Traction Company had many streetcar and interurban lines in the Portland area. Mr. Richard Samuels now owns the remaining track.
This is a "Hollywood" car from the Pacific Electric in Los Angeles. The "Hollywood" cars were the last cars on the Portland Traction. All were cut up
There is a video on DVD about the Portland Traction Company. It's from "Haij on Rails Productions" It's a excellent video. I have it in my collection. Al Haij the photographer was a personal friend for many years. Sadly Al passed away about twelve years ago. I lost a really good friend
