    All,

    I have dynamis controller and use for control some dcc train, the problem dcc tsunami always jerk when roll on low speed.
    i used step speed 128/128, For example i have loco SD70Ace which I set CV as below
    CV29=54
    i set the CV25=11 ( load capacitance)
    CV 116=71
    CV3=40
    CV4=40
    then i compensate with CV209=56 and CV210=16, but the loco still roll jerk at low speed(18/128)

    Would you like to help me and advice how to set CV with correct way and solve the jerk roll?

    Thanks a lot.

    Do you use this loco on DC? (Analog) ? If not I would set CV29 to 34.
    I have never set the CV 25 so I am unsure just how this affects the running. Are you using the speed table?
    CV116 is normally use for setting the chuff rate for a steam loco. Set it to zero to see how it affects the unit.
    CV3 and CV4 seem high to me. That is a bunch of acceleration and braking rates. Try just 3 to 5 in each.

    To set CV209 and 210 you must first set CV2, 3 and 4 to zero. Now set you controller to speed step one and adjust CV210 until the loco just moves, it will be jerky. Now set CV209 until it smooth’s out. Now you can set CV2, 3 and 4.

    Hope this might help

    Yes i used in DCC mode, oke i will set in 29=34
    Yes i try to have loco which have effect sound notching first then loco start to move, that's way i set 25=11, or do you have another solution ?
    For CV116 if i set to 0,..its become manual notching, instead of auto, so the engine ramp up if we press F9 and engine down while press F10.

    for CV3 and CV4,..if we set to low we lose the momentum effect, that's way i try to set become 40 in each.

    Ok for set CV210 and CV209 i will do it and report to you again,..thanks for the tips and help..

    nice to know you

    Well if you what to use the loco in dual mode you need to leave CV29 right where it is.
    With CV3 and 4 I have found that you don't need a very large amount. But your loco might behave different than what I have been exposed to. i would try to set back to factory default and see how the loco operates. Then change just a few CV's at a time.
