    Really good photos again.

    Don't know about generational differences... the one on the right looks like an export unit (long hood is reminiscent of MLW-Alco, but the cab and short hood look suspiciously EMD-like... a 1:1 scale kitbash?) - probably about the same age as (or a little younger than!) the bigger SD40-2. Looks like they had a change in loading gauge!

    Where was the generational one taken? It looks like a kitbash done by a lowrider or chop fanatic!I dont think I would fit lol.

    Those are in Brazil. ALL has standard gauge in Brazil and both standard gauge and broad gauge operations in Argentina. I believe the photo shows standard gauge.
