Cut file size - still no luck I tried cutting the file size down to less than 500 K, between 390-450 K (less than that comes out too grainy on my Camedia software) and uploading one at 389K - same error message... Could it be with those moving photos over from the old RailImages that the system is overloaded? Heck it's been almost a year since I moved mine.
Greg no our server is not overloaded as far as i know, what browser are you using? I'm using firefox but i doubt that it the issue
Browser I have been using IE 7 since it came out and have had no problems before. I have Windows Defender, NAV 2006, free Zone Alarm as well but have had these for quite a while.
OK, I got three uploaded individually, on the 4th I got this: Warning: move_uploaded_file(/tmp/phpXuB9CB) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpXuB9CB' to '/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/3148/MPA307-a.jpg' in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48
No Issues I just uploaded 10 images all at one time without any issues... :computer: :computer: :computer: :computer:
Another try, same error... Got the photo above to load, then tried the last three and got this: Warning: move_uploaded_file(/tmp/phpvyLwMn) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpvyLwMn' to '/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/3148/SHPX3265.jpg' in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 As information, I turned off my Windows firewall to see if it was the problem. No difference.
Still won't work. Tried to upload just one of the three left and got the following. have to wonder if everyone trying to upload multiple photos isn't freezing me out on my dialup line. Warning: move_uploaded_file(/tmp/phpXj1T9L) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpXj1T9L' to '/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/3148/SHPX7673.jpg' in /home/frisco/public_html/railimages/image-inc.php on line 48 I quit for tonight, will try again tomorrow night.
I would suggest that each one of you experiencing the problem, forward a copy of your picture that fails to Support@trainboard.com. I have checked the server and error messages and all is fine. So there are no server issues. Charlie will look at this in the morning and either correct the problem or comment further.
Got 'em all posted - one at a time Finally got the eight photos posted, as individual uploads only. Today, uploaded one OK, then tried two, no soap. Same error message, which I sent to Charlie at support@trainboard.com I notice he uploaded the photo I sent him without problems, as did I as the last one uploaded. I then uploaded each one singly. This really needs to be addressed, as I still have a fairly large number of half-century old steam and trolley photos to scan and upload...
Thirdrail, we are working on this and hope to have further answers sometime on Tuesday, we will keep all advised.
Question I'm wondering and will try to check this out myself but let me ask this question. You say you got them to upload individually but not as a group. This tells me that individual they were under the 2MB limit but how big were they individual before you uploaded them? What I'm drive at is seeing if maybe the Group has some limit we have not seen before. I will try to test this theory out myself when I get a chance but maybe you can supply info I can compair my results with and see if they match. :boy: :boy: :boy: :boy:
File size I reduced all files to 500K or under, so uploading two was still less than 1MB and yet was rejected.
We are in the process of trying to figure out what is causing this. I will update you when we find something. Charlie
Hi Charlie, I am also getting the same problem but this only occurs in the first instance and I am coming in from a very long distance, could be timeout issues ? Here's a screenshot this shows which line the PHP code failed at.
