If you are talking about the post war die-cast trucks, they were riveted on and had to be drilled out. Then a 2-52 nut and bolt would fit the hole to hold the truck back on the stamped car floor. Greg
I believe I had to drill out rivets on a newer tender that my nephew had busted about 4 years ago. I lucked out because it was the back one and I salvaged a truck from a box car.:tb-mad:
all right, a 2-52 screw you say? I am also attempting to replace the trucks on my grandpas old Mark loco so that they would be compatiable with Lionel cars since the coupler's were the siscers type
