These 4-8-2 were good haulers used for passenger service as well as freight. Here are some more pictures of class15s class 15
Robin I won't even try to guess where you come up with all those pictures but they sure are great. When I worked for the SP from 1955 to 1964 I don't remember even owning a camara. Now looking back I sure wish I had taken some pictures.
Well Dick. I was very fortunate that my brother-in-law was a train fan and he and his buddies took many photos and were members of the Railway Society of Southern Africa. I used to go with them on some of these train fanning trips
Oh Well. Some people have all the luck. Others like me are sometimes to stupid to realize when opportunitis show up.
I am really enjoying these SAR/SAS Photos I particularly like the 15AR, maybe because they look a bit British Keep 'em coming
