I have no problem with the change and do like it brighter and cleaner. However, I feel for those with sensitive eyes and the brightness can cause a lot of pain. How about a muted color, not as dark as the old site.
Try clicking the button near the top (and to the right) of all that, looks like this: See if that helps... Cheers, -Mike
Guess I'm in with the minority, I like it. It seems to agree with my old eyes. It would be nice to have the option to change color schemes though.
I like it, because I use a lot of forums and this is more normal...of course, that's also a dislike I guess.
Having a very bright background a pc is very difficult on the eyes especially long term. This is why the Kindle paper mode is so fantastic (in the long term) as it does not make the eyes tired. Please go back to the old color scheme
To Charlie, and/or website managers: Is there a possibility of moving the Log In option to the top of the initial menu next to the Welcome option? That way those of us who prefer to block cookies can log in without selecting the Log In option, then wait for the next screen to appear and scroll down to the Log In menu at the bottom before being allowed to log in. I'll happily accept the inconvenience if this option that will cost more. Thanks, Hank
vbulletin 4.2.2 (current) has this option: [h=2]Profile Page Customization[/h] How do I customize my profile page? You may be able to edit the design and styling of your public profile page (if this is enabled by the board administrator) via the 'Customize Profile' section within the User CP. You can adjust the color scheme, fonts, borders and layout of elements on the page. You can also use images as background for various sections of you profile. First you will need to upload the background images to an album you have created (?). Background images can be sourced only from albums defined as public, or 'profile' type. Images in private albums cannot be used. Is this in the plans?
I can just say, I dont like. Too much informations (on the right) that is not interesting me, and the important stuff is compressed to the minimum place. I want just read about Z, not digging after it.
Our Z Forum is in the exact same place as it has been, unchanged. The right hand column has been there for quite some time now. Several years. Basically, the big change was simply colors.
Until I read this post, I did not notice any difference. Seems the same to me. The items on the right side have always been there. Unless you use ad-block to remove them.
