    Hey guys,
I'm trying to locate a Seaboard E-unit for S-Scale. I believe American Models made one, but now I cannot locate one to purchase one. I'm looking for an A and B unit, or two A's at least. If anyone knows if these actually exist, please tell me. Thanls for your help.

    Hi Scott,

I don't recall AM ever producing a Seaboard E unit but that doesn't mean they didn't. I see they have undecorated units for sale now. I don't know which scheme you are interested in but custom paint might be the quicker way to get them.

Have you asked on the yahoo S lists?

Scott - Don't know how accurate you want/care to be, but the Seaboard had no E-8B's. They did however have (I think) 5 E-4B's and for sure 3 E-7B's. Due to joining/splitting certain passenger trains they often ran 3 E-?A's "elephant style." This also seemed to be the rule when they used the E's in freight service.

The later mint (savannah) green paint job lends itself well to a "do it yourself" paint job, even my klutzy efforts were quite passable. The "Citrus" scheme - 'fraid you're on your own.

    Scott,
Here is the link to the S scale list on yahoo:

You will have to join to post but there are several people that should be able to answer your questions.
