Let’s see what you have printed to put the finishing touches on your scenes... Here I have printed a Back up generator, and a wall mounted AC Cooling unit. These were designed in tinkercad.
Very nice - maybe it's because I was just recently shopping for shelving units those really appeal to me. Cheers -Mike
I just finished an end of track section ... More about it in my other post here... https://www.trainboard.com/highball...-55-end-of-track-section.134405/#post-1155656 Sumner
That's slick, Sumner! I have seen 3d printed track bumpers, but usually as an add-on to existing track.
I added a couple more pictures after seeing if I could use a rail joiner... I cut a tie off the printed side and was able to slide the rail joiners on. I'd still glue the tracks down and I think one would be fine not using the joiners and just gluing both tracks down I was also asked if there was an actual prototype that looks like this? I honestly can't say if there is a prototype or not. I took the basic idea for it from a post I saw on the internet. Not sure if forum rules allow me to do a direct link here but if you go to my web site and read about the 'end of track' there is a link there ... http://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/3D-Printer-2/page-32.html I guess if I use one on 'my railroad' there will be a prototype at least in one place Sumner
