I went through my account preferences and can not find a way to change this site colors. To these old eyes, I have trouble seeing the difference of read and non-read threads. I would like the non-read threads to be bolder/darker if possible or even a different color.

    That doable?

    Thanks

I don't know, but New Posts only shows you a thread you've read if there's a new post in it.

There are a couple of things that may help. I know at my job I have trouble with colors, too, due to aging eyes (software developer where most of my team writes their code on a near black screen with the letters in shades of gray, orange, yellow and green)

For TrainBoard my preference is to hit the "New Posts" button as mentioned above so I can see all the new postings across the entire site. This is good to catch items of interest that may be in one of our other forums outside of my usual hang-outs in "N Scale" or "3D Printing." Second thing is I sort by "Last Message" in order of most recent first, then lastly, outside of the bold text there is also a little marker next to the post title that serves as an indicator that there are unread (new) posts in the thread.

    Hope this is helpful:

Mike: The right arrow did it for me. Never noticed that before. I knew about 'New Posts' but do not like wading through topics that I do not usually read.

    Thanks!
