I've been working on a freight transfer building for a few weeks and just finished it (more about it tomorrow). I wanted two options for the roof. One is a flat roof that I could put heating/cooling units on like the ones I designed... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4560421 or... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4563126 or items others have designed. For the second option I wanted to put multiple rows of skylights on the roof so came up with three options. Option one above has all the windows printed in place which would represent all windows closed. Option two would have one window opening blank where you could print a window and insert it to look as if the window had been opened. Option three is like option two except you can have two windows open. I'll put three rows of the skylights on the freight transfer building in the background. More about the skylights here... http://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/3D-Printer-2/page-29.html and the files are on my thingiverse account here... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4591902 Sumner
A view of the skylights on top of the freight transfer building. They aren't glued on at this point as I need to paint things first. I'm using Tamiya Putty to fill the glue seams between the sides, Sumner
