Hi! I'm looking for any info/pics of Sacramento Northern and Western Pacific activity in Marysville and Yuba City. Thanks!

I'll pass this onto my great mate Andrew. He's a WP/SN fan who has been planning a layout on Yuba City yard and industry and has a lot of info. Give it a week or two, though.
Just finished talking to Andrew and he recommends your first stop being Garth Groff's SN site - http://people.virginia.edu/~ggg9y/home.html Any questions regarding SN in the area you want can be answered, or at least a pointer made, by Garth. Another is Yahoo!'s SN group. There is a great files section there with a link to access Sanborn maps of Marysville and Yuba City, and other areas. You will need to join, though - SacNorthern : Discussion of topics related to the protoype operations, Historical Information and modeling the Sacramento Northern Railroad
Gary probably has the best answers for groups to look to for answers and so on. The only other people I know of personally that might have pictures aren't on the net. I'd have to locate their phone numbers and give them a call. If Gary's suggestion doesn't give you all the info you need, I'll see about contacting a couple of fellows who were actively taking pictures in the 1970's. Greg
There are a few on this site: http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?railroad=Sacramento%20Northern Most are long gone now. The last time I was in Yuba City, even the Sacramento Depot on Bridge Street and Plumas Street was gone. Born and raised in Y.C. Marysville area. Left in the late 60’s. I came back to visit in about 2000. The Del Monte Plant #14 was gone.
