I always wonder what unknowing area residents think when they hear a whstle and a steam engine thunders through. Surely there must be some interesting facial expressions!
The funny bit is that when some passerby see a bunch of people with cameras, camcorders and tripods and ask "What yall doing"??
Tell them the Titanic is scheduled to dock in a few minutes. When I worked for an engineering company, we had a couple of lines we'd feed curious residents as we did nearby field work. One was telling them we were building a new rail line through their neighborhood. Another was that we were going to tunnel under their house. No matter their reaction, they always left us alone the rest of the time.....
