Got this photo off the net of Spokane Portland & Seattle Train #2. It was the Portland connection for Northern Pacific's North Coast Limited and Great Northern's Empire Builder. The train left Portland at 15:00 each afternoon. It was a colourful train with cars from SP&S, GN and NP. The train has usually two locomotives then the next trhee cars were SP&S. A RPO-Baggage, Baggage-Dorm and the short coach. The GN cars were next usually three cars. A Dome Coach and two Pullman's The SP&S Diner then the Sleeper-lounge with the NP cars on the rear. Usually a Dome Coach and two Pullman's one a Dome Sleeper.
