The Hull-Chelsea-Wakefield steam train is celebratimg the 100th anniversary of its Engine 909 this year. The 2-8-0 oil-fired Swedish-built locomotive runs daily trips until September.
    Reservations are required.
The HCWRR is located in Hull, Quebec, just across the river from Ottawa, Ontario.
The coaches are restored from the 40's, also Swedish-built.
The trip is about 3 hours return with a 2-hour layover at Wakefield.
The engine is turned around on a small turntable in Wakefield, and is available for inspection and cab visits during the layover.

Full information is available at Steamtrain.ca

Note that I'm not connected in any way, shape or form with the HCWRR and that this information is provided solely for the enjoyment of steam nuts like me.
