    Sadly, I found that the return loop made some areas of the room inaccessible - when I needed to retrieve something in a hurry! - so I've taken it out and reverted to end to end. The other details remain the same.

    I have both HO and N. Both go round and round. Have built in capabilities to run point to point as well. Use DCC, some sound.

    Style of layout: Roundy round, but with a small yard with some switching possibilities
    Brief reason of choice: Choice of time period and roads represented, it's what I remember from growing up in the midwest (llinois)
    DCC or DC: DC
    Sound or No sound: Background sounds for ambient environment via small cd player and powered speakers
