    Ryan-

Earlier in this topic, I'd mentioned Snoqualmie and Snoqualmie Falls.

NP Snohomish is long gone. Torn down about 25 years ago. GN Snohomish is also long, long gone. Only the Milw depot remains. A two story brick building, just off the north end of the Avenue D Bridge, a few feet east on 1st Street. It's back end almost hangs over the river bank.

    Ellensburg/Yakima/Toppenish

The Elllensburg, WA NP depot is being restored by a local preservation group. I haven't hear much lately, but I'll be there later this month and will post some photos.

It was in pretty bad shape the last time that we were in town (January, 2007) - boarded up, and suffering from vandalism and neglect. Apparently years of snowfall have weakened the roof, and a considerable amount of guano will need to be removed from the upper portion, due to pigeons taking over.

We were in Yakima and Toppenish, WA on Memorial Day, 2006. The Toppenish depot has been beautifully restored and is the NP Museum. Yakima is also in nice shape, with a restaurant on one end.

I'll try to get some photos on here by the end of the month.:tb-biggrin:

I went on a little photo trip last weekend.....one stop I wanted was the holcom cement plant, and low and behold, there's a depot sitting right next to the MRL mainline (ex NP) . MRL is using it for storage. Location is Trident, MT. Also got a picture of the NP water tower at Logan, and some old GN passenger cars and Montana Western boxcars at Nevada City, and the Milwaukee road caboose at Three Forks. I'll try to post when I get to the other computer.

Look this one up.....Quendall, WA! It's just north of Renton on the west side of the tracks at the old Barbee Mill. I have been in it before when I did flat repairs on logging trucks up to a year ago. It was the offices for a logging company and it had all sorts of old railroad pics in it, and the "Quendall" station sign still on the front. The funny thing is it was turned 180 degrees from the tracks, but in the same spot. It was made from brick. The logging company moved out when Paul Allen moved the Seahawks training camp on the land now, so it might be gone. I'll take a drive up there soon.

I know where the Barbee Mill was located. Never though this existed. Wish someone could confirm?

Ha! I was coming back from Bellevue with the wife and kids, turned on the turn-signal at the Kennydale exit, and my wife said, "oh no your not!!". So I kept going. It was getting late anyways. I'll try to make it up there on my next day off. I tried searching for the info on the net, all the NP sites, etc. Nothing except some Jim Fredrickson photos of the area, but no station pics.

Wife-1. Railfan-0.... It happens. Sometimes, I just go anyways, and endure the butt-chewin' that ensues. I also try to get my pics rather quickly!;):p:)

Anyone know if there are depots between East Olympia and Vancouver? Centralia and Chehalis I know. Littell has been demolished. What about Ridgefield or Woodland?

Tenino. But it isn't on the main anymore, it is in the city park.

Ridgefield and Woodland do not have depots on the main anymore, if they were moved I do not know but they are not on the mains.

I'm hoping to visit Tenino in a few days. Wish I knew of anything else in that area.

Also hoping to swing out toward Hoquiam. See if they're getting anything done on that preservation. Does the Elma depot still stand?

Kelso is still standing, Amtrak uses it and it looks like someone (wa state?) put a few bucks in it because it looks really good. Longview Jct. and Kalama have no depots to my knowlege.

Has anyone pictures from the interior of a depot? I'm looking for my station project for pictures from the operator's room.

Tacoma, Tenino(2nd), Centralia, Chehalis, the only one on the Grays Harbor line is Hoquiam, part of the freighthouse in Aberdeen. South Bend branch, Littell was the last, now gone. Kelso is the only thing between Chehalis and Vancouver.

Didn't make it to Kelso, but did catch Centralia and Chehalis. Still need to see Tenino, and then go to Hoquiam.

    Still no confirmation on Quendall?

Any others around we can confirm?
