Long way from home.....amazingly, the car looks to be in decent shape. If this isn't a donation candidate, I don't know what is.
It's prolly chock full of steam loco parts to aid in restoration of UP 844. Many of the assorted boxcars in the roundhouse area are full of steam engine parts for both 3985 and 844. Much of the 844 is prolly in those boxcars, as safe storage. The steam shop is not all that spacious.....

MKT caboose 1024 in front of the Katy Depot, Denison, TX. There are 2 other Katy cabooses- both are in the green & yellow. All of these, including the depot, could count as "Katy survivors..........
