My mistake, I should have said sip "Fine" Bourbon. It is to relax not forget, and less of a headache afterwards.

^this! Am more of a scotch man, but a couple fingers of a good bourbon never sounds like a bad idea.

And by good, I mean the college days of downing bottles of Beam in a night are long gone. I have definitely evolved into a spirits snob in moderation where taste still matters lol

Damsin in Distress. Southern VA shine aged with Damsin plums in a heated tobacco barn. Smoother than Southern Comfort but has the kick of an entire mule team.

Southern shine is OK but, North Wisconsin and UP bourdon and vodka is better. Or wines are fine as well.

A nice choice, at least until you find the single-malt meant for you, and then you won't dare have it blended among others. Fine Scotch whisky is a jealous nectar.

Glenlivet is my favorite, but there are many other choices, with one to meet most anyone's fancy. The best part is finding the one meant for you!

Then of course, where do you think the makers of our fine Tennessee and Kentucky whiskeys came from?! Scottish immigrants settled in the limestone hills that were bursting with springs that tasted like home, and have done their ancestors proud!

Beam & 7 was my parents' favorite mixed drink, which I enjoyed with them, but I prefer a Jack & Coke when I'm out. Or a good Margarita, frozen or on the rocks.

Apparently, the first frozen Margarita was served right here at Mariano's Hacienda Ranch restaurant in Arlington TX. They even have a Texas State Historical Marker honoring it.

Liver disease! Spoken like a mortician, and probably something seen more than once by said morty!

Haven't sipped or imbibed in many, many years. But at the time, Norwegian Akevit would have been my choice. That or Norsk Export lager.

As a former officer and a gentleman, now just the gentleman, it is a highball with 2 ice cubes and 3 fingers of Angels Envy or Jefferson Ocean Bourbon when needed. The ones that are filtered three times that makes them so smooth. But just once or twice a week at most.

The last time was to celebrate getting my new CabControl working and tossing out the Digitrax, rather donating it to the NTrack Club.
