Hi George, What a unique and interesting idea building a model railroad in a RV. Being an apartment dweller (well actually a small duplex dweller that was built in the early 40's), I'm tempted, but I know the association will never go for a RV parked in the parking lot for extend periods of time :( It it truly amazing how you turned that old RV into a really nice layout room and as you mentioned, no need to take the layout down just because you need to move to a new location. Talk about a portable layout with zero setup time (y)

On a side note, most folks do not know that the song "Funny Farm" was written about a run away dog :ROFLMAO: Yes I'm showing my age as I remember that song being played on AM morning radio :D

Wellll..."Necessity is the mother of invention". It was actually THE Wifes idea to build it in the original 'THE Trailer' Unfortunately 3 feet of heavy wet snow trashed it :(

THE RV was my idea after I salvaged what I could...and set my sights higher so THERR Lives on...with the same but better....mobilty built in :D

    Ahhhhh...I remember well.....

"Well, you just wait, they'll find you yet
And when they do, they'll put you in the A. S. P. C. A, you mangy mutt !"

Good to hear you are OK. Last year my wife got MRSA staph infection after a 30 minute out patient surgery. She spent 9 days in the hospital and the first few were touch and go. Take care of yourself, with a lot of these infections once you've had it the first time, you are more susceptible to a recurrence of the infection.

    Rich S.

Due to poor housekeeping, instrument sterilization and personal hygiene. Called a Noscomial Disease as in acquired in the hospital. The hospital or outpatient clinic should be footing the bill on that one.

George, just thinking about that operation gives me the willies. I hope you were out when they shoved that scope you know where? I'm glad I'm out when they do a colonoscopy, I could not imagine enduring either procedure and not being in LA LA land :D

Rick, not only did they foot the bill for the hospital stay and all the IV medication used, they also footed the bill for the 20 mile ambulance ride to the hospital.
They are a very big name hospital and they bent over backwards to make sure we were well taken care of, because as you mentioned there is only one place my wife could have been exposed to the MRSA staph infection.
