I still have TBX 30500, but don't know current status of the other car...which I think is supposed to come my way at some unspecified time in the future. Two weeks ago, a few local modelers expressed interest in having TBX 30500 visit their layouts, so I told them how to contact Paul or Paul to be added to the official list. But apparently, no one has followed through yet. I believe I'm the last on the list for TBX 30500...and I haven't been informed of its next destination. I can hang on to the car for a little longer (waiting for local response), or I could return it to one of the Pauls (or send to the next participant/destination) as soon as they give me an address.

Another oddly futuristic box car #30500 appeared at Zalma, MO. This monster is huge compared to the typical 40' cars of the era. The ancient Frisco 4-4-0 #97 had trouble pulling this all steel giant so Russian Decapod #1632 was sent to pull it the eight miles to the mainline at Brownwood. Locals think that this is possibly an experimental piece of rolling stock designed to help the war time freight traffic. 1918 is sure to be a busy year. If anybody wants to host this car next let me know where to ship it.
