Not much in the way of impressive bridges on Cajon Pass; does this count? Middle pier yet to be installed...

Impressive bridge? Depends on what impresses one. Impressive SCENE? Yeah GOLLY!

Not perhaps a massive, scene-dominating bridge, but a nice capture of typical railroading.

These are some of my favorite bridges on the old Belmont Shore club.

One of my favorite model bridges was a 40' flat car re-purposed as a one laine bridge across a gully.

Nice modeling there Eugen. I think it captures the look of the desert Southwest in North America quite well. Thumbs up.

Eugen, that first one is quite something - an over/under, if you will. Nicely made!

    I know that bridge!
I pass it when driving to Wrightwood.
    Nice work.

Welcome to Trainboard Steve. Yeah, I think I even have a photo of that bridge somewhere. Well, at least the new replacement might be lurking in there somewhere.

Lol, thanks Steve! Of course you see it from the "new" Hwy 138 overpass, whereas I still have the at grade crossing with wig-wags on my "circa 1950" layout. Welcome to TB!

There are 2 there now. On for track 3 and of course the SP Palmdale cutoff as well.

I got to love this one the best because #3027 was the very first locomotive I purchased to start my adventure into N scale and model trains.

I've been working on my Keddie Wye bridges. The mainline line side is finished except for the handrails and weathering. That will get done one the scenery is complete. As soon as I have the mainline finished up back up to the helix, I'll add the walkways and rail to it.

For tie strips, I printed them out on my 3D printer, added pc board ties, then soldered code 55 rails and code 40 guardrails.

    Here is the tie strips

With the pc boards glued on.

    Installed on the layout

It's been ages since I've posted here, but I couldn't resist this topic. :)

Here's a few of mine. They are sometimes tucked into the background.

All of mine are scratchbuilt models of real bridges, or at least spans of real bridges.
