This is the first of two articles about the Saundersfoot Railway and it focusses on the line running North out of Saundersfoot via Wiseman's Bridge to Stepaside....

This is the fourth article about Pembrokeshire's Railways. The first focussed on the pre-railway age, the second focussed on the mainline railways of the county. The third article focussed on the industrial railways in the vicinity of Milford Haven. ....

Some beautiful scenery in these views. Love the place names. "Saundersfoot". "Stepaside". Their origins might be interesting...

    Hi again,

There is a note at the start of the first article about how the name Saundersfoot was probably derived. I will check out Stepaside.
    Best wishes

Plenty of locations here in the States, where folklore has played a role in naming of a site. Some of which is quite humorous.
