Yes. I remember seeing pickets at the B&M East Deerfield, MA yard and figured it was not a good day to railfan. Several years before, a friend asked me if I might be interested in a management trainee job in Billerica, MA and after some thought, declined. One of the best career choices I made. <g>
In their defense, this part of PanAm was gone. My photo from one PanAm TriStar to another. We were conducting some sort of airspeed calibration. You can make out the trailing wire behind that one, part of the flight test equipment.
