    Here's my tip-o-the day, always have a "Home" button (or link) on every page, and it's a good idea to have a set of links to other parts of your site on every page too. what tip-o-the day can you think of?

    (here's another tip...visit my re-done pages to see ideas on linking...)

    tip-o-the day, today... try not to have a graphic-heavy home page, it loads too slow, surveys show people get turned off quick and leave before it even finishes loading and don't come back... reduce file size of images you do use, and put your images in correct tags with a height and width attribute...sample;

    &ltimg src="URLof.gif" height="50" width="100"&gt

    Another way of having a homepage link on every site is to use frames. My links to pages are always on the left with the page appearing on the right.

    Espee, I visited your site today and once again enjoyed the visit. One comment can you add a track plan of the layout and maybe a few more wide shots of the layout as it is a little difficult to get a feel of the whole layout.

    Regards

    Paul

    Thanks, Colonel. I would like to add more pics too... and can and will soon... but I can't add a "track plan" because it would require a scanner, or special software. I am on webtv, and can only submit images via video capture, and also write my pages codes from scratch by hand. I would have to litterally shoot a picture of it with a camera and add it that way... as you can tell from some of my photos, the poor quality of a digital camera submitted via capture.... a track plan might look lousy... any ideas on making a track plan? any on line places to create graphics?

    tip-o-the day... check out http://www.FlamingText.com for making cool buttons and name banners, with hundreds of styles and fonts to choose from... being on webtv, I (we) are dependant upon graphic sites like this, as we can't have cool software to create stuff. [IMG]
    (no they didn't pay me to say this...LOL... I just like to share cool, creative sites that could be fun and helpful to others... [IMG])

    p.s., when there, click on "Gallery" to see the text/font styles, and you can also change it to a black background if desired...
