Unfortunately, the whole issue was the cookie on your computer and had nothing to do with us.

I didn't want to bring this issue up again but thought it might be useful to some in the future. I too was having the same problem but learned to just live with it. Then this morning I decided to try again. Here are the steps I went through:

    1. Logged on, permission denied screen pops up.
    2. Logged out. Manually cleared cache, cookies, active log ins, etc.
    3. Logged in, permission denied screen pops up.
    4. Joined Cattle Car as someone had mentioned.
    5. Logged out.
    6. Logged in, permission denied screen pops up.
    7. Logged out. Temporarily disabled my a-v software (Avast).
    8. Logged in and problem resolved.
    9. Logged out and enabled my a-v software (note: made no changes to Avast).
    10. Logged in and no issues.

I can log in and out now and have no problems. Go figure. The wonderful age of computers with all of its inherent subtleties of software and hardware conflicts and having to try and resolve those conflicts.

Another user stated that when he saw the permission denied message he clicked on the "Forum" button in the orange bar above and he saw the message no more.

Yeah, I get the "permission denied" message on the home page evry time I enter the site, but it has never prevented me from entering the forum or anything else, so not a real problem.
