    Hello,
I have a lot of USA G Scale train cars that have the number's like...R-1400. The are in the original box and some have never been run on a track. They belonged to my husband who passed away. He had a lovely GR in Southern California. After three years, I am selling the trains and need some information on these train cars. They are not in the USA catalog and the man at the USA Company say's they are too old to be in his computer. He thinks they are from the 1980's and maybe before that. If you have any information for me I would appreciate it.
    Thanks so much.
    Pamela
PS When selling trains, must you have the boxt that goes with it? I have 98% of the original boxes.

    Pamela-

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

No. You do not need to locate all the boxes. However, if you have them, keep and use them for storage and shipping. They do add to value for anyone collecting.

    Pamela,
I just wanted to add a link to your photo's so others may see what you are inquiring about. Your garden RR looks outstanding. If your inquring about pricing for these cars your guess is as good as mine. The boxes and condition of the cars is always in the consideration when either a collector or runner looks to buy of course anything closer to mint condition ups the prices. You can get grab irons to replace the ones broken on The CB&Q boxcar and the car will be as good as new.

I am helping Pamela with her USA Trains auction and for those who may be interested in her trains please do support her. It was actually her husbands layout and she wants to sell of the trains so that others like me can enjoy and own a piece of history which is no longer in production. Alot of those USA Trains she has are ones no longer made and I haven't seen in a long while.

Pamela is loading up pictures is her photo album so one I can help her identify then and 2nd so we get a preview of what she has to offer. She has some real nice Charles Ro and USA Trains rolling stock, some have been upgraded to metal wheels, a few have never even been used. One thing is for sure though, everythig I'm seeing so far that she has was long discontinued by USA Trains and she has something for everyone it looks like, Santa Fe, Burlington Northern, CB&Q, take a look here at her album > www.trainboard.com/grapevine/album.php?albumid=531

    Checked out the auction

I checked out that auction, it is not Pamela's but interesting. Loks to be a Aristocraft FA locomotive with 3 Aristocraft beer reefers, a Bachman bobber caboose (I can tell because it doesn't have side laterns like a Aristocraft bobber caboose) with a Bachman gondolla

Pamela's USA / Charles Ro now listed

I have finally finished helping Pamela figure out what she has in her USA Trains and Charles Ro train collection that was owned by her husband who passed away. The trains are in real nice condition and for those who like Burlington Northern and Santa Fe, she has some nice items.

Here is the link to her auction > http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/gertrudepenrose_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ
